What is the estimated delivery time and how is it calculated?
Authorized Version’s estimated delivery time (EDT) is our prediction of when an order could be delivered to you. The EDT is the sum of estimated fulfillment and shipping time. Think:
estimated fulfillment + estimated shipping = estimated delivery time
Our fulfillment time average is 2–5 business days for all products. When we calculate the estimated fulfillment time, we take into account the current order volume and our capacity.
The estimated shipping time is calculated according to our historical shipping data for deliveries to your area or selling region.
The estimated delivery time is just an estimate, it’s not a guarantee. You can receive the order past the EDT for reasons, like:
- Products being out of stock
- Shipping-related delays like failed delivery attempts or service disruptions
We work our hardest to meet our delivery estimates. If you’re ever in a situation where you haven’t received the order and it’s past its estimated delivery time, please allow a few more days. If you still haven’t received your order, get in touch with us, we’ll check your order status, and let you know how to proceed.
What if my order gets lost or damaged?

Why does my shirt have a vinegar smell?
When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don’t worry, that’s not unusual – it’s from a fixation agent applied during the printing process, and it’s not permanent.
Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all DTG prints across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment. The solution is simply to wash the garment! Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent, and both should go away after one wash.
Where are Authorized Version products printed?
We print our products with care at our fulfillment centers in North America and Europe, as well as our partner facilities across the globe.
How should I clean my hats?
The best way to clean your caps is to hand-wash them instead of placing them in a washing machine. This will help with retaining their shape and won’t diminish the quality of the embroidered design.
We recommend you wash them with a mild detergent (not bleach), in lukewarm water. If there are any spots that require more attention, you can use a damp cloth, but don’t use brushes.
You can also search YouTube for other recommendations.
What technology is used to print on t-shirts (and other fabric products)?
Our standard process is the Direct to Garment (DTG) method of printing. That means we can create photo-quality prints, the amount of colors used doesn’t affect pricing, and there aren’t any order minimums. We use Kornit printers for all DTG-printed garments.
How soon can do I need to submit a claim for a damaged product?
Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 10 days after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 14 days after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.
Are there any discounts for bulk orders?
Yes, there are discounts for bulk orders! Almost all of our products are eligible for bulk discounts.
What you should know:
- The minimum order quantity to be eligible for a bulk discount is 25 items.
- The discount is applied automatically at checkout, and only to product prices. It can’t be combined with other discounts.
- The % off depends on the product and the amount you order—the bigger the order, the greater the discount.
